World Trade Center – Cairo Hosts the Largest Gathering of French Universities in the Region

The Per Nefer Ballroom at World Trade Center – Cairo proudly opened its doors to welcome a landmark educational event — the “Choose France” fair, the largest gathering of French universities ever held in Egypt and the region.

The event was officially inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Eric Chevallier, Ambassador of France to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and was warmly received by Mr. Walid El-Sherbiny, General Manager of World Trade Center – Cairo Company. This distinguished occasion brought together representatives from top-tier French universities, education officials, and hundreds of Egyptian students eager to explore academic opportunities abroad.

Held in the Per Nefer Ballroom, a venue known for its sophistication, panoramic Nile views, and fully equipped facilities, the fair was a perfect match for the scale and significance of this international gathering. With modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, WTC Cairo once again proved itself as a premier destination for high-profile events and global cooperation.

Mr. Walid El-Sherbiny expressed his appreciation for the French Embassy’s trust in choosing World Trade Center – Cairo as the venue, stating:

We are honored to host such a prestigious event that supports education, international collaboration, and cultural exchange. This aligns with our mission to be a gateway for global partnerships and knowledge sharing in Egypt and beyond.

The “Choose France” event not only provided students with pathways to prestigious institutions, scholarships, and programs, but also celebrated the strong and growing relationship between Egypt and France in the fields of education, innovation, and cultural diplomacy.
